Hi, I'm Gene, the lady behind SUNNY FOLK

A (decaf) coffee-fueled, colour-obsessed,
doodle-loving mum of three! Ever since I can remember, I’ve been sketching outfits and playing with colours (mostly when I should’ve been studying). Creativity has always been my happy place, and now I get to share that love—not just with my kids, but with you too!

SUNNY FOLK was born from a simple idea: to encourage little folk to express themselves
freely. Whether through what they wear or the wonderful ideas they dream up on paper, I believe every kid should embrace their creative genius and get scribbling. That’s why our clothes are designed with playful prints, bold colours, and a whole lot of hand-drawn, old-school illustrations—because getting dressed should be just as fun as their sketches.

And one absolute non-negotiable? Doing it all sustainably. We’re making thoughtful choices to protect this beautiful planet for the kids who will inherit it.
